Quantitative determination of anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in IgG class in DBS by ELISA technique
- Test objective: Assessment of humoral immunity against SARS-CoV-2 virus. The test consists of a quantitative determination of IgG antibodies, which appear after contracting the virus (even asymptomatically) or after vaccination with vaccines based on the S1/RBD subunit of the coronavirus.
- Method of testing: Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), Anti-SARS-CoV-2 QuantiVac ELISA (IgG) test from EUROIMMUNEUROIMMUN.
- Analysed substances: Neutralizing antibodies specific to the spike protein (S-protein) receptor binding region of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the IgG class.
- Type of test material: Dried blood spot
- Test category: DBS
